Night Care Worker - Part-Time

As a Night Care Worker in our care home, you will help create a safe, comfortable and reassuring environment for residents throughout the night. While the home may be quieter, your role remains vital in supporting residents'' wellbeing, dignity and independence. Whether you''re providing personal care, offering reassurance or carrying out regular wellbeing checks, you''ll help ensure residents feel safe, supported and cared for during the night. What you will do Support residents with personal care and night-time routinesCarry out regular wellbeing and safety checksProvide reassurance and emotional support when neededRespond promptly to calls for assistanceAssist with mobility and positioning where requiredMaintain accurate records and hand over information to colleaguesHelp create a calm, safe and comfortable environment throughout the night About youYou will be caring, reliable and committed to supporting older people to live well. You''ll be confident working as part of a team and able to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We''re equally interested in people with the right values, a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to support others. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
