Primary Care Facilitator

to support the roll-out of the

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

across primary care on a national basis. This role will be instrumental in helping GP practices, community pharmacies, dentists, and optometrists transition from paper-based prescriptions to a fully digital process – improving efficiency, safety, and convenience for patients and healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities

Support stakeholders throughout the EPS implementation process, including regular progress meetings, risk management, and go-live support.Build and maintain strong relationships with primary care stakeholders to understand and address their digital service needs.Act as a point of escalation for issues, liaising with relevant teams, health boards, and suppliers.Provide reports on project progress, ensuring compliance with national standards and adoption of best practice.Contribute to project plans, identifying resources, risks, and critical paths.Coach and mentor primary care stakeholders in adopting new digital technologies.Skills and Experience Required

Essential:Experience delivering customer service and projects within a primary care setting.Strong understanding of primary care systems and suppliers.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Desirable:Knowledge of NHS information governance and security standards.Understanding of DHCW’s role and working knowledge of clinical terms.Experience presenting to small groups.*Rates depend on experience and client requirementsJob Information
