Job Title: Civils Operative / Traffic MarshalLocation: Cilfynydd - National Grid 400kV SubstationStart Date: 16th February 2026End Date: 28th August 2026Job Type: Temporary (45 hours per week)Hours: 07:30 - 18:07Rate: 23.00 per hourOverview:Search Recruitment are currently supporting the delivery of works on a National Grid 400kV substation project in Cilfynydd and are looking to engage an experienced Civils Operative / Traffic Marshal to join the team on a contract basis.This role has been created due to increased project demand and will play a key part in supporting site operations, logistics, and safe movement of personnel and plant within a live utilities environment.Key Responsibilities:Acting as Traffic Marshal controlling vehicle and plant movements on siteSupporting civil works teams with general groundworks and infrastructure activitiesMaintaining safe access/egress routes in line with site proceduresWorking within strict National Grid safety standards and protocolsAssisting site management with daily operational tasks as requiredEssential Requirements:Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification (training certification required)NG Person status is mandatoryPrevious experience working on utilities, infrastructure, or substation environmentsFull PPE must be in place prior to mobilisationStrong understanding of site safety in high-voltage environmentsAdditional Info:Candidates without NG Person status or Traffic Marshal certification cannot be considered.Candidates ..... full job details .....
