Academics are recruiting Newly Qualified Teachers to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis within supportive KS2 primary schools, providing excellent opportunities to develop confidence and classroom experience.

Position: Newly Qualified Teacher - KS2
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: -130 - -190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

Working as a KS2 Newly Qualified Teacher in Doncaster, you will teach pupils across Years 3-6, delivering engaging lessons that support academic progress, independence and preparation for transition to secondary school. These roles suit newly qualified teachers who want to strengthen behaviour management, assessment skills and subject delivery across upper primary.

You will receive consistent support from school teams and your dedicated Academics consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured KS2 lessons
  * Support pupils'' progress in core and foundation subjects
  * Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  * Differentiate learning to meet varied ability levels
  * Assess and track pupil progress
  * Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
  * Adhere to safeguarding and behaviour policies

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  * Newly Qualified Teacher or Early Career Teacher
  * Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  * Confident behaviour management approach
  * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
