This is a genuinely varied and hands-on role sitting at the heart of how new products are developed, tested and signed off before they reach the shop floor. If you''ve ever walked around a major supermarket or high street retailer and looked at the shelving, display units, entry systems and shopfitting around you, you''ll have a good idea of the kind of products you''d be working on.   What the role involves   You''ll be taking new bespoke retail fixtures and fittings from initial customer brief through prototype build, physical testing and final sign-off. Alongside that you''ll be carrying out quality control inspections on incoming products, checking finished articles against specification and conducting spot checks on ongoing supply.
