New Business Development ExecutiveSalary: £30,000 to £35,000 basic + Comms and other benefitsLocation: Huddersfield (Hybrid)Reports To: Sales DirectorRole OverviewThe New Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to support company growth. This role focuses on prospecting, lead generation, relationship building, and converting prospects into long-term clients.The ideal candidate is commercially driven, confident communicating with decision-makers, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound activityGenerate and qualify leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and referralsBuild and maintain strong relationships with prospective clientsArrange and conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrationsUnderstand client needs and propose tailored solutionsPrepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and tendersNegotiate terms and close new business dealsAccurately record activity and update the CRM systemWork closely with marketing and account management teams to maximise opportunitiesMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developmentsMeet or exceed individual and team sales targetsSkills and Experience RequiredEssentialProven experience in a sales or business development roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build rapport and ..... full job details .....
