New Business Development Consultant

OverviewAs a New Business Producer, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across key sectors and professional services. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to shape the growth strategy by identifying new sectors and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Lead conversion efforts to meet or exceed business targets.
Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients and partners.
Work closely with colleagues, global partners, and introducers to expand distribution channels.
Contribute to annual business planning and forecasting processes.
Attend and lead prospect meetings.
Develop proposal documents, tender responses, and presentation materials.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with service teams to ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor service delivery standards and maintain regular contact with clients across your portfolio, including allocated house accounts.
Qualifications
Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Strong relationship-building skills with clients.
Negotiation, persuasion, and delivering client-focused solutions.
Solid understanding of relevant insurance classes and broader health, risk, and wellbeing strategies is advantageous.
Broad understanding of the Financial Services or Insurance sector.
