Network Support Manager
to provide
independent oversight of the safe control of operations
across
gas networks
and operational sites in
Guernsey . This role ensures the highest standards of safety and compliance, delivering on matters of
network integrity
and
capital projects , while also overseeing the accurate and timely update of network records.Base pay range

Gas Safe Operations Oversight:
Coordinate activities across networks, manage operational impacts, and resolve conflicts affecting safety and supply.Gas Distribution Compliance and Competency:
Maintain registers of authorised personnel, validate competencies, and work with engineers to ensure appropriate qualifications and audit completion.Gas Distribution Operational Control:
Record and monitor all operations under Safe Control procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and procedural integrity.Gas Distribution Asset Integrity Support:
Assist in reducing asset risk, support network integrity decisions, and help evaluate strategies for risk reduction and growth.Operational Oversight and Data Management:
Oversee network modelling, odour monitoring, and operational process mapping; maintain accurate digital and GIS records, network failure data, and Synergi models.Team and Service Delivery:
Manage 2 Technical Assistants across Jersey and Guernsey and ensure successful delivery of objectives set by senior leadership.Relocation:
We are looking for an experienced Gas Distribution Support Manager who is keen to relocate from the United Kingdom to Guernsey Ireland.Qualifications
Degree in engineering or 5+ years’ experience in the gas industryExperience working within a Safe Control of Operations (SCO)5+ years in operations or asset managementFamiliar with GIS and UK Gas Safety Management RegulationsGas Safe Registered EngineerStrong focus on delivering results on time and to a high standardHigh integrity, adaptable, and able to manage pressure and shifting prioritiesSelf-starter with a flexible, hands-on approachFull driving licence and able to pass a police checkChartered or Incorporated Engineer (UK)Experience using Gas network modelling toolsBackground in risk management and mains/service replacementKnowledge of COMAH and meter asset managementIf you are passionate about safety, infrastructure, and sustainable energy, this is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation making a real impact in the energy ..... full job details .....
