2nd Line Network Support EngineerOffice based - Huddersfield Paying between £, depending on experience. We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Network Engineer to join a growing and friendly Help Desk team based in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1st or 2nd Line experience who is looking to develop their career within networking and gain exposure to new technologies.In this position, you will be responsible for supporting customers with network-related issues, handling escalated tickets, and assisting with projects and installations. You will play a key role in ensuring high levels of customer service while meeting service level agreements.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging and resolving support tickets escalated from the 1st Line teamTroubleshooting network issues across a range of technologiesLogging and managing faults with third-party providersEnsuring all tickets are progressed and resolved within SLAKeeping customers updated via phone, email, and ticketing systemsConfiguring and supporting network equipment (routers, switches, WAPs)Supporting customer installations and project workEscalating complex issues to senior engineers where necessaryMaintaining accurate records within internal systemsRequirementsPrevious experience in a 1st or 2nd Line support roleStrong communication and customer service skillsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilityAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyFull UK driving ..... full job details .....
