In this role, you''ll take ownership of highways inspections, enforcement, and maintenance across a designated area, ensuring that public infrastructure is safe, compliant, and in top condition. Key Responsibilities Lead the inspection, maintenance, and improvement of highway infrastructure in your area. Carry out routine safety inspections, license checks, and respond to utilities queries. Provide excellent customer service to residents, businesses, and stakeholders. Conduct utility inspections under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Enforce standards under the Highways Act 1980 and Environmental Protection Act 1990. Issue notices for improperly parked vehicles and ensure swift resolution of public concerns.
