Network Security Engineer - Firewall Rule Optimization (AlgoSec) | £400 - £450 per day (Inside IR35) | 6-month initial contract | Start: ASAP | On site, 4-5 days per week in ManchesterOur client is looking for a Network Security Engineer to reduce risk from overly permissive Firewall rules and routing that bypasses Proxy controls.This is a hands-on remediation role within a three-person team, with one engineer each in India, the UK and the US. You''ll work through years of accumulated rule changes as part of an AlgoSec-led cleanup, and align the outcome to the client''s target-state security design.
