The programme involves replacing pre-configured end-of-life Routers and Switches at customer sites. The engineer will be primarily responsible for the physical installation, cabling, commissioning support, and verification of Cisco and Juniper equipment. Configuration and migration activities may be carried out by remote Network or Project Engineers. Key responsibilities Attend customer sites to support network refresh and migration activities. Remove end-of-life Routers, Switches and associated equipment. Install, rack, cable and power pre-configured Cisco and Juniper network equipment. Complete like-for-like equipment replacements or installations in accordance with the project design. Connect copper, fibre, console and management interfaces. Establish console or remote-management connectivity for remote Network Engineers. Support 3rd Line and Project Engineers during implementation, testing and migration activities.
