Network Engineering Specialist - Regional Planning and Optimisation Location: UK-based (London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Ipswich, or Glasgow) Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35) Clearance: BPSS Required Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week (Shift pattern covering 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri, and 08:30-17:00 Weekends/Bank Holidays) About the Role We are seeking a Performance Specialist to join our Regional Planning and Optimisation team. You will be responsible for maintaining radio network KPI metrics, investigating and resolving customer issues, and driving continuous improvements to ensure top-tier network performance and an excellent subscriber experience. Key Responsibilities Performance Monitoring: Monitor network KPI metrics at both regional (top-down) and cell levels (bottom-up) to investigate abnormal changes and determine root causes. Issue Resolution: Investigate reported customer network issues and implement action plans, including performing RF tuning, managing remedy incidents, and requesting network investments. AI Training: Provide feedback to data-driven AI operations algorithms to improve anomaly detection and root cause analysis recommendations. Collaboration: Work closely with operations and managed service providers to ensure performance-impacting faults are progressed and resolved effectively.
