Overview

You will be implementing flawless change, providing technical resolution and continuously learning, enabling resource flexibility across the unit to meet demand and deliver a brilliant customer experience. You will champion and build effective working relationships, both internally and externally, to deliver business outcomes and add value. You will be responsible for the change execution and assurance of Fixed Networks platforms managed by Professional Services, and you will contribute as a technically talented expert to publicise the team and support others to perform at their best.What you''ll be doing

Supports the delivery of routine daily activities and is accountable for system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of all network infrastructure components.Participate and be the technical lead on incidents within the immediate domain and contribute to PIR write-ups and solutions.Propose and implement innovations for continuous improvement within the immediate area.Execute the implementation of complex changes in line with change management best practices and governance.Provide 365x24/7 operational support for faults spanning multiple platform domains, including out-of-hours change and callout.Manage stakeholder and demand expectations through cross-area engagement.Develop technical capability through continued learning and use BT''s learning tools.Champion and build effective working relationships to deliver business outcomes and deliver change execution and assurance for Fixed Network platforms managed by network engineering technology services.Demonstrate strong experience with network technologies and protocols in the native domain; PSTN knowledge and solid technical/hardware understanding of System X and AXE10.Incident response to resolution.Be aware of the End-to-End service journey.Willingness to adopt and support newer technologies to support the Voice and Optical Pillar (Media Gateway, Transmission, Radio).Experience in completing changes in a live network and system environment.Qualifications
