Network Engineer (Zero Trust andamp; Palo Alto) CACI Network Services Location: Hybrid/UK Type: Permanent CACI Network Services is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Zero Trust Architecture, Palo Alto Networks, and secure enterprise networking to support critical customer environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructure. Deploy and manage Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access, and GlobalProtect. Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and network segmentation strategies. Support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networking environments. Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents. Collaborate with Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams to enhance network resilience. Essential Skills Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and security platforms. Proven delivery of Zero Trust and network security projects. Expertise in BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN. Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking. Knowledge of security frameworks and secure access technologies. Desirable PCNSE certification. Experience within government, defence, or highly secure environments. Knowledge of automation tools such as Python or Ansible. Experience 5+ years in Network Engineering. Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical networks.
