Network Engineer

Network Engineer 6-Month Contract London / RemoteA leading legal organisation is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team, providing hands-on support across a large-scale enterprise network.This is primarily a BAU support and operational role, focused on maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment. You''ll be responsible for troubleshooting complex networking issues, resolving incidents, performing upgrades and maintenance, and ensuring the ongoing stability of critical infrastructure.Key Skills and Experience: Strong experience supporting enterprise network environments in a BAU capacity.Advanced hands-on administration of Palo Alto Firewalls, including Panorama.Strong operational experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.Experience configuring and maintaining firewall policies, NAT, Virtual Routers and Virtual Systems.Strong Cisco networking background, with proven experience troubleshooting routing and switching, including BGP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.Good understanding of VRFs, MPLS and enterprise WAN technologies.Experience supporting Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching environments.Administration and support of F5 LTM and GTM load balancers.Experience supporting Riverbed WAN optimisation solutions.Familiarity with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds.Experience carrying out firmware upgrades, patching and maintenance across network and security infrastructure.Knowledge of 802.1X ..... full job details .....
