Network Engineer

We are supporting an NHS organisation in West Yorkshire with the recruitment of an experienced Network Engineer for an immediate start contract. This role will focus primarily on BAU support and network stability across a live healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day to day BAU support across the network estate ensuring high availability and performanceMonitor, troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and service requestsSupport configuration, maintenance and optimisation of Cisco Meraki environmentsAssist with patching, upgrades and general network housekeepingWork closely with internal IT teams and third party suppliers to resolve issues efficientlyMaintain documentation and adhere to NHS governance and security standardsRequired ExperienceStrong hands on networking experience in enterprise environmentsProven experience with Cisco Meraki technologiesSolid understanding of LAN WAN networking, routing and switchingExperience supporting BAU operations in a live service environmentAbility to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly and effectivelyDesirablePrevious experience within NHS or wider public sectorAwareness of NHS IT standards and security requirementsContract DetailsImmediate startContract roleOnsite in Halifax one day per week with remote working for the remainderThis is a great opportunity to join a busy NHS team supporting critical infrastructure in a fast paced environment. ..... full job details .....
