Network Engineer - MUST HAVE MOD SC CLEARANCE - Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - 3 months+/RATE: £525 per day + expenses (inside IR35) One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Network Engineer. Please find some details below: CONTRACTOR MUST BE MOD SC CLEARED AND SOLE UK NATIONAL (no more than 28 days outside the UK during the last 5 years) The candidates MOD SC must have been actively used within the last 12 months The candidate must have 3 months left on their SC clearance to allow time for interview, offer and transfer of clearance Role Description: You will be working on a client site, in collaboration with Project Managers, SMEs and Architects to deliver projects on time and above customer expectation. You will be working closely with support teams and other functions to ensure seamless integration of project work to the Run service. The focus of your role: Undertaking a range of equipment installations and configuration activities for complex or high business impact solutions. Performing infrastructure surveys, wired and wireless. Get involved in office moves, adds, changes. Perform technical refresh of network hardware and cabling. Configuring core infrastructure components eg Switches, Routers, Firewalls, load balancers, voice systems etc Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
