Network Engineer - Insurance

Network Engineer wanted - London 2 days per week. This contract role will be working for a large IT company whilst being based on their clients site who are within the insurance sector.Day rate of 500 - 520 per day via Umbrella inside IR35 SummaryDesign: Create secure network zones using VLANs, subnets, and software-defined networking (SDN).Policy Enforcement: Write and manage firewall rules, access control lists (ACLs), and micro-segmentation policies.Traffic Analysis: Monitor data flow to ensure security policies do not break business applications.Risk Mitigation: Isolate critical assets, IoT devices, and legacy systems from the main corporate network.Collaboration: Work with security teams to respond to incidents and audit network boundaries.
