Network Engineer+6 months ++Inside IR35+ 475 - 515 a day +SC / DV cleared role +Sole British national only - due to nature of the project Skills:+Palo Alto +Cryptographic technologies+SC / DV clearance We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a specialist team supporting the operation, maintenance and continued development of a highly secure defence network environment.This is a technically challenging role requiring strong networking and firewall expertise, with responsibility for maintaining network availability, delivering architectural changes and supporting secure, mission-critical services.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain a complex secure network environment, including gateways and cross-connects to international networks.Monitor network performance, identify outages proactively and ensure SLAs are maintained.Design and implement network and architectural changes in line with project and service requirements.Provide technical consultation to delivery teams and senior stakeholders.Work with defence stakeholders and international partners to design, coordinate and deliver network initiatives.Manage network perimeter security, internet-facing security policies and deployed network assets.Support software-defined networking and inter-enclave firewalling.Contribute to the design and delivery of service provider and data centre network solutions.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation using tools such as Confluence.Support the ..... full job details .....
