This is an exciting opportunity to join the programme at initiation. The right candidate will drive forward the automation workstream that underpins the largest network modernisation programme across the UK higher education sector. Core responsibilities include design, implementation, testing of automated Network Infrastructure development that will enable scalable, secure, automated, resilient network services across the University''s estate.Reports To: Portfolio Delivery Manager Key Responsibilities:Project DeliveryDesign and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible and GitHub.Automate provisioning and configuration of network infrastructure (eg, Firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, SD-WAN).Collaborate with the Network Architecture and DevOps team to automate self-service infrastructure configuration.Integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.Development of reusable patterns, modules, templates and playbooks that ensure consistency, ..... full job details .....
