IT Services Provider is hiring for a Legacy Technologies Network Architect to join their team based in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This role is paying between £60K - £70K + £6K car allowance + 10% bonus. SC Clearance will be required for this role. Seeking an experienced Network Architect with deep expertise in Legacy technologies and a strong background in secure environments. Circuit to packet experience is essential. This role will be based onsite for 4 days per week.Responsibilities include:- Design, implement, and support medium to large-scale network solutions using Legacy andandnbsp;modern networking technologies.- Collaborate with service and project teams to understand business and technical requirements.- Produce high-quality design documentation and lead design governance reviews.- Provide hands-on support for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of networking components.Skills and Experience:- Strong knowledge of Legacy circuit-switched networks and point-to-point connectivity.- Hands-on experience with TDM multiplexers/demultiplexers, synchronization, and QoS implementation.- Deep understanding of SDH, WDM, ATM, Frame Relay, and circuit to packet emulation (CTP).- Proven ability to configure and manage Routers, Switches, and older network devices.- Familiarity with security measures including encryption, authentication, and secure routing protocols.- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues in hybrid network environments.- ..... full job details .....
