The role provides a visible and accessible presence within local neighbourhoods, helping to maintain safe, clean and well-managed communities while supporting residents and working with council teams, contractors and external agencies. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out regular neighbourhood, health and safety and compliance checks. Reporting and escalating hazards, defects, repairs, nuisance and environmental issues. Helping maintain communal areas, blocks and neighbourhoods to a high standard. Removing litter, dealing with minor graffiti and supporting bulky waste and fly-tipping responses.
