Location: Welwyn Garden CityRate: 29.50 per hour (Umbrella)Contract: Minimum 3 MonthsHours: Full-TimeWe are currently seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join a busy local authority housing service in Welwyn Garden City.This is an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to deliver high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services, supporting residents and helping to maintain safe, sustainable communities.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver an effective housing and tenancy management service across a designated patch.Manage tenancy issues, neighbourhood concerns and estate management matters.Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour cases.Conduct tenancy audits, sign-ups, home visits and estate inspections.Support vulnerable tenants and facilitate access to support services.Manage tenancy changes including successions and mutual exchanges.Respond to customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records and case management information.Work in partnership with residents, contractors and external agencies.RequirementsPrevious experience in housing management, tenancy management or a related field.Good understanding of housing legislation and tenancy enforcement.Experience managing challenging and sensitive casework.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders.Competent IT and record-keeping ..... full job details .....
