About the Role
Reporting to a manufacturer in Alcester, this full-time NDT Technician post supports production of high-precision fabricated and machined metal parts for aerospace, defence, and power generation customers. The successful candidate carries out dye penetrant and visual inspection to written procedures, confirms equipment remains suitable for use, and performs control checks and tests. They interpret and evaluate results against defined acceptance standards, produce work instructions, and manage workflow to satisfy production schedules. Duties also cover preparing and authorising product test reports and verifying components meet customer specifications. The salary is £31,000 to £33,000 per annum. Applicants should demonstrate relevant NDT experience and a methodical approach to quality documentation.

They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
- Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
- Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
- Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
- Generate work instructions
- Manage workflow to meet production requirements
- Prepare and authorise product test reports
- Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
- Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous working experience working in an NDT Technical capacity
- Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
- Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
- Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
- Strong team player
The role is Days – Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm then Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm

The role is based in Alcester so is commutable from Redditch, Studley, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Stratford upon Avon, Worcester
