NDT Technician

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 4:15pmContract: PermanentWorking Pattern: 4-day week Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business who are looking to appoint two NDT Technicians to join their inspection team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NDT Technician with PCN certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to join a highly technical manufacturing environment. The role offers a genuine 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, giving you a long weekend every week, alongside the opportunity to work across a varied range of products and inspection activities. As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of non-destructive testing and inspection activities across tubes, forgings, rolled bar and manufactured cylinders, ensuring products meet the required international standards and customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out manual Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to recognised international standards on tubes, forgings and rolled bar. Setting up, calibrating and operating automated Ultrasonic Testing equipment for the inspection of forged products. Carrying out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and other NDT activities as required. Providing technical advice and support on matters relating to non-destructive testing.
