About the Role
Our client, a leading public sector organisation, is seeking an experienced NDORS Trainer & Quality Assessor to join their Driver Improvement Team.
Based in Essex with hybrid working available, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified trainer to play a key role in improving road safety through the delivery and quality assurance of NDORS (National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme) educational courses.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training programmes, monitoring trainer performance, and ensuring all courses are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Deliver NDORS courses both online and in-person.
- Use effective coaching and facilitation techniques to maximise learner engagement and positive outcomes.
- Ensure all course content is delivered in accordance with UKROEd standards and best practice.
Quality Assurance & Monitoring
- Monitor trainer performance and course delivery standards.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and support to maintain compliance and service quality.
- Identify development opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Training Development
- Support the development and enhancement of training materials and delivery processes.
- Contribute to road safety programmes and educational initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate trainer communications and scheduling activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Support audit requirements through reporting and compliance monitoring.
- Assist with workload planning, risk management, Health & Safety, and business continuity activities.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- UKROEd Trainer Licence.
- ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) Licence held for a minimum of one year.
- Proven experience as a Driver Trainer, Driver Coach, or Instructor.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Proficiency in Zoom and online training platforms.
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
- Access to your own vehicle (under 7 years old).
