      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Senior Navigation Engineer to join its highly capable Guidance, Control and Navigation team in Bristol. This permanent role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced systems, combining hands-on technical engineering, research and strategic influence without line management responsibilities.   Key Responsibilities:    Developing and analysing sophisticated guidance, control and navigation algorithms throughout the systems full lifecycle  Contributing to the specification, design, implementation and verification of real-time guidance and control architectures  Working with complex systems and equipment, including RF and infrared seekers, inertial sensors, actuators, propulsion systems and launch platform interfaces  Influencing the future direction of guidance and control design, testing and technical strategy  Defining clear engineering requirements and objectives from complex technical challenges  Managing system complexity by identifying the key technical drivers within interconnected engineering environments  Diagnosing system abnormalities through physical investigation, computer modelling...</description>
