DV would be highly advantageousThis role within the Submarine Naval Architecture team, which sits within the Naval Authority andamp; Technology Group which is accountable for the assurance of maritime key hazards, developing standards and guidance for safe and capable vessels, and conducting underpinning Randamp;D, focused on the area of submarine Propulsor.Essential Experience/Skills RequirementNaval Architect qualified (masters level or equivalent experience)Experience of Submarine hydrodynamicsExperience of ship or submarine propulsion (including Vandamp;V techniques)Desired Experience/Skills RequirementKnowledge of acoustic theory and measurement techniquesCEng and/or MRINAOther InformationHybrid and flexible working can be considered for this post but will need regular workplace attendance to access SECRET information.Must be eligible for access to SUKEO data.DV clearance highly desirable.Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
