An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join a successful and growing organisation operating within the foodservice, wholesale and retail sectors. This is a high-profile, national field-based role responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of established key accounts worth in excess of 12 million, whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities across England and Wales. The territory covers the Midlands, London, South East, South West, Yorkshire, Lancashire and North East regions. The Role You will be responsible for maintaining, growing and developing sales across an existing customer base while proactively identifying new business opportunities. Managing approximately 65 key accounts, you will build strong customer relationships, create account growth plans and deliver sustainable sales growth against agreed KPIs. The role involves regular customer visits, presentations, business reviews and networking opportunities, with occasional overnight stays where required. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop an established portfolio of key accounts. Generate new business opportunities and win new customers. Deliver sales growth and achieve agreed KPI targets.
