National Sales Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to take the lead in achieving ambitious sales objectives within the valves sector. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing sales strategies, building long-term client relationships, and driving both new business development and the growth of existing accounts across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets.

Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and customer accounts.

Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, ensuring growth in assigned territories.

Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing insights and improvements through monthly KPIs.

Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.

Identify and pursue new market opportunities while keeping abreast of competitor activity and market trends.

Conduct ongoing market research and customer feedback analysis to support product and business development.

Keep customers informed on services, pricing, and new product launches.

Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Promote and pitch target products to both end users and distributors.

Work closely with partner sales teams to track and secure key projects across multiple sectors.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong technical knowledge of valves.

Solid understanding of routes to market across the UK.

Proven ability to analyse sales metrics and drive performance improvements.

Excellent negotiation skills and a customer-focused mindset.
