An exciting opportunity has become available to work within workforce development in the HR department. The position is for 2.0 FTE (37 hours) per week over a flexible work pattern with some evening and weekend requirements. We have two positions available. About you You will be passionate about working with young people who have experienced care and be committed to supporting them to achieve positive outcomes. In this role, you will provide both individual and group-based support to young people referred to the House Project, ensuring they have maximum ownership of their journey and are supported to achieve independence. You will support young people to develop practical skills including: Managing a tenancy and maintaining a home Managing finances and budgeting Developing education, training and employment pathways Building confidence, resilience and independence You will work in a relational, trauma-informed way, building positive relationships and enabling young people to actively participate in decision-making within the project. The role is varied and includes direct work with young people, facilitating group sessions, supporting meetings and contributing to planning processes. You will also work closely with partner agencies including housing, social care, health and education to ensure joined-up support.
