It is expected from you to have a thorough and up-to-date understanding of the market, LCL product and service offerings, and knowledge of the sector that the prospective customer is operating within. You will spend the majority of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business and developing relationships within these organisations. Problem solving, proactivity and delivering value propositions are other important prerequisites.How you create impact
Ensures all customer engagements are performed to the highest standardsUnderstanding the customers'' needs and offer a sustainable service solutionUnderstand industry / category trends and other factors which may influence the customers'' businessMaintain prospective customer relationships, understand their needs and establishing a high level of trustEnsuring sufficient pipeline of target LCL opportunitiesEnsure the crucial prospects has the correct key stakeholders in place to unlock the winning strategyEnable upselling of LCL services to incumbent Sea Logistics customersEnsure that the LCL offering is always compelling for our customers'' requirementsWhat we would like you to bring
Proven Sales Experience in Dynamic, Face-to-Face EnvironmentsPreferred Background in Logistics Experience and KnowledgeSelf-Starter: Must be competitive, imaginative, enthusiastic, self-confident, inspiring, logical, systematic, and precise.Resilient and Positive: Stay determined and optimistic, even when others become pessimistic or defeatist, and deliver satisfactory outcomes in new and unexpected situations.Assertive Leadership: Assert authority to meet agreed timescales and deadlines, overcoming any obstacles that may arise.Please note that this is a National role, so you can be based all over the UK.
