National Director - MandE Design

Your new companyA growing multidisciplinary consultancy with ambitious plans to reach £60m turnover by 2030, the business is entering a key phase of expansion and senior succession. With established capability across Blue Light, Education, and Higher Education, they are now preparing to explore opportunities within the MOD sector, broadening their national project portfolio.Their MandE Design team currently consists of around 20 engineers across the Midlands and London, with a clear strategy in place to double team size over the coming years. This new role has been created to support that growth and to strengthen leadership within the division.Your new roleAs the National Director - MandE Design, you will lead the strategic, technical, and commercial development of the MandE Design function across the Midlands and London.You will be responsible for:Leading, developing, and growing the MandE team, ensuring strong leadership and succession.Supporting market expansion, strengthening existing sector relationships, and helping the business explore entry into the MOD sector.Acting as a senior representative for the consultancy in client relationships, bids, proposals, and strategic partnerships.Providing high-level technical oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality design standards across all projects.Driving commercial performance, supporting forecasting, resource planning, and division-wide strategic decisions.Contributing to board-level discussions on growth, direction, and ..... full job details .....
