This is a great role for a commercial, relationship-led account manager who enjoys being out in front of customers as much as managing the day-to-day - combining the profile of recognised national accounts with the opportunity to open up exciting new speciality business.The roleManage and grow major retail and online grocery accounts, including the likes of Co-op and OcadoDevelop new and existing business across farm shops, delis and independent/speciality retailAct as the key point of contact for your customers, building strong, lasting relationshipsTravel throughout the UK for customer meetings, with a base at the Wembley officeManage forecasting, listings, pricing and NPD conversations to grow each accountWork closely with internal teams to deliver a first-class service to customersWhat we''re looking forProven account management experience within foodservice or food manufacturingExperience managing retail and/or online grocery accounts (Co-op, Ocado or similar) is highly desirableConfident selling into independent and speciality retail such as farm shops and delisA genuinely customer-facing operator who''s happy to travel UK-wide for meetingsCommercial, ..... full job details .....
