Maintenance Operative (Wet Room Specialist) Location: StevenageContract Type: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP Hours: 37 hours per weekOverview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Operative to join a busy Property Services team. This role is ideally suited to a multi-skilled operative with strong experience in wet room installations and repairs, particularly cap and cove vinyl flooring, wet room flooring systems, and associated maintenance work. The successful candidate will have a broad maintenance background and be comfortable carrying out a variety of repairs within occupied residential properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service. Key Responsibilities Carry out responsive repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works within residential properties. Install, repair, and maintain wet room flooring systems, including cap and cove vinyl flooring, floor preparation, hot welding, and finishing works. Undertake wet room adaptations, repairs, and upgrades to ensure properties remain safe, accessible, and compliant. Complete associated wall finishes, minor tiling, sealing, and making-good work within bathrooms and wet areas. Carry out a range of general maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing repairs, patching, plastering, flooring repairs, and decorating work.
