Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Batley to recruit a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for music and creative expression.The successful candidate will be joining a supportive department with a strong commitment to academic excellence and enrichment through the arts.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging and inclusive Music lessons in line with the national curriculumTeach students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential)Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities, including clubs, ensembles, and performancesAssess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectivelyContribute to the wider school community and support school events and productionsMaintain high standards of classroom management and behaviourThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching Music within a UK secondary school settingStrong subject knowledge and a passion for music educationExcellent classroom management skillsA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What Veritas Education OffersCompetitive rates of payOngoing support from a dedicated education recruitment ..... full job details .....
