Are you confident delivering engaging practical and theory-based Music lessons while maintaining strong classroom management?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy, a secondary school based in Grantham, which is looking to appoint a Music Teacher. The academy provides secondary education within a Church of England setting, offering an opportunity to support students in developing their musical knowledge, creativity and confidence.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Music Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Music Teacher will be working with students of GCSE age, delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stage 4 / KS4, including performance, composition and music theory, while maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management.

The successful Music Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Strong subject knowledge of Music, including performance, composition and music theory

• Experience teaching Music at Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Knowledge of the GCSE Music curriculum

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A positive, adaptable approach with a passion for inspiring young musicians
