We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher looking to make a significant impact on students'' musical education and creative development. The successful candidate will join a supportive team with excellent resources and facilities, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Music lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
Develop students'' musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for a variety of musical genres
Monitor and report on students'' progress, providing constructive feedback
Encourage participation in musical performances, ensembles, and extracurricular activities
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events
Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and school concerts
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Music
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and vocal training is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Organised, proactive, and adaptable to change
