Key Responsibilities:
- Teach well-structured Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire and engage students in the study of music, helping them to develop practical performance, composition, and listening skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Music department to share ideas and contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum.
- Lead extracurricular music activities such as school concerts, choir, band, and music clubs.
- Provide constructive feedback to support students'' progress and personal development.
- Foster a creative, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Manage and maintain musical equipment, ensuring it is well-kept and accessible for all students.
Qualifications andamp; Experience:
- Experience teaching Music at the secondary level is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of music theory, performance, and composition.
- Passion for music and the ability to inspire students to develop their musical talents.
- Good classroom management and adaptability in teaching methods to suit a variety of learners.
- Ability to motivate students and create an environment where creativity can thrive.
