Key Responsibilities:

  Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  
  



• 
  

  Lead extracurricular ensembles including choirs, bands, and other groups

  
  



• 
  

  Support students in experimenting with various instruments, music technology, and genres

  
  



• 
  

  Prepare students for assessments, performances, and formal exams

  
  



• 
  

  Monitor and nurture student progress, adapting to different learning needs

  
  



• 
  

  Collaborate with staff to weave music into wider school activities and events

  
  



• 
  

  Maintain clear and positive communication with parents and carers about student progress

  
  

What We''re Looking For:

• 
  

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)

  Experience teaching music in secondary education

  Competence in at least one instrument or strong vocal ability
