About the Role:
A well-resourced and creative secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join their Performing Arts department from September. Youandrsquo;ll teach Music across Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring students through both practical and theoretical learning, with opportunities to support school performances, ensembles, and music technology.
Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Teach engaging Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, including GCSE Music
andbull; Support students in developing instrumental skills, performance confidence, and music appreciation
andbull; Use music technology to support composition and production
andbull; Lead extracurricular clubs such as choir, band, or music production
andbull; Organise concerts, assemblies, and school-wide performance events
Requirements:
andbull; QTS with secondary Music teaching experience
andbull; Ability to deliver both practical and theory-based music lessons
andbull; Strong knowledge of the GCSE Music curriculum and music technology tools (e.g. GarageBand, Sibelius, Logic Pro)
andbull; Ability to play at least one instrument and support students with performance prep
