Position: Music Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Start Date: June or September 2024
Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover until Easter 2026
Pay Range: andpound;160 - andpound;240 per day
Working Hours: 8:00 am andndash; 4:00 pm
Overview:
A vibrant and forward-thinking Secondary School in the Farnborough area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting either in June or September 2024 and continuing until Easter 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, sharing your passion for music in a supportive and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality and engaging Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity, performance, and musical appreciation.
- Plan, assess, and report on student progress in line with curriculum standards.
- Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school, including school concerts and music clubs.
- Work collaboratively with department staff and the wider school community.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
- Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 level.
