We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Music Teacher, ideally with the ability to teach Drama, to join a secondary school setting. This is an exciting opportunity to teach performing arts across Key Stages 3 and 4 while contributing to a vibrant and engaging curriculum.
The successful candidate will deliver high quality lessons in Music and Drama, inspiring students to develop creativity, confidence, and a passion for the performing arts. There is also a strong emphasis on extracurricular involvement, including leading clubs and supporting school performances.
This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers looking to develop within a supportive and forward thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities• Plan and deliver engaging Music and Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire creativity, confidence, and student participation in performing arts
• Lead or support extracurricular activities such as clubs and school performances
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching where required
• Contribute to curriculum development within the performing arts department
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents or carers
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Ability to teach Music, with Drama teaching desirable
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for performing arts
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
