This is a great opportunity for a Music Teacher who enjoys working with young people and understands how powerful music can be when it comes to building confidence, encouraging self-expression and getting students engaged in education. The school works with students who may have struggled in mainstream settings and provides a more structured and supportive environment. You''ll be teaching Music across the secondary age range, with plenty of scope to make lessons practical, creative and relevant to the students you are working with. The Role You will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 Creating practical lessons that encourage students to get involved Teaching a range of musical styles, instruments and techniques Supporting students with composition, performance and music technology where appropriate Using music as a way of encouraging creativity, confidence and self-expression Adapting lessons to suit different abilities and individual needs Building positive relationships with students and encouraging them to take an active role in their learning Managing behaviour calmly, fairly and consistently Tracking student ..... full job details .....
