Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity? GSL Education London Branch is seeking an experienced Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary comprehensive school in Greenwich from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Music Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop their musical knowledge, confidence, creativity, and performance skills. The successful Music Teacher will become part of a supportive department that values high-quality teaching, creativity, and student achievement.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop their practical, theoretical, and performance skills.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations where required.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress accurately.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with different abilities.
- Encourage participation in school concerts, performances, and musical activities.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support student achievement.
- Follow the school''s behaviour, safeguarding, and curriculum policies at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Music Teacher in a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
- A commitment to raising standards and achieving excellent student outcomes.
- A flexible, positive, and professional approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
