Music Teacher

An enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher is required to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield for a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).

Responsibilities

• They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons covering performance, composition, and appreciation across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• The role involves effectively teaching musical theory and history, adhering to the school's curriculum.
• They will foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents.
• Contribution to extracurricular musical activities will be expected.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music is essential.
• Experience teaching Music lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
• Strong musical skills and a solid understanding of music theory are expected.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
