Multitrade Electrical Tester

Role Overview
This is a 3- 6 months contract with a local authority, responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs across domestic, commercial, and industrial settings. The role ensures all systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational, while also supporting other trades as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Carry out testing, inspection, and fault diagnosis.
• Complete all required documentation and certifications.
• Support basic tasks in other trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry).
• Ensure work meets health & safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rota if required.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition-
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
• Proven background as a qualified electrician.
• Skilled in testing, inspection, and fault-finding.
