Multiskilled Painter and DecoratorOne ManchesterPermanent 41,964 per annum40 hours per weekManchester and surrounding areasWe are recruiting experienced Multiskilled Painters and Decorators to join One Manchester on a permanent basis.This is a mobile position involving painting, decorating and associated maintenance work across occupied homes, empty properties and communal areas. Candidates must be comfortable communicating with residents and delivering a professional, high-quality service while working safely and respectfully in residential environments.Working patternThe role operates on a fixed working pattern:Four weekdays from 11:30am to 8:00pmEvery Saturday from 8:30am to 4:00pmSunday and one weekday off each weekThe working pattern is fixed. Applicants must therefore be able to work the late weekday shifts and every Saturday on a permanent basis.Key responsibilitiesComplete internal and external painting and decorating workWork across occupied homes, empty properties and communal areasPrepare walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces for decorationStrip existing finishes and remove loose or defective materialsFill, sand, seal and repair surfaces before applying finishesComplete minor plaster patching and associated making-good workApply emulsion, undercoat, gloss and other appropriate paint systemsComplete wallpaper stripping, lining and hanging where requiredCarry out snagging, recoating and finishing work to the required standardRecognise staining, damp, mould ..... full job details .....
