We''re recruiting for a well-established, process manufacturing site in Avonmouth, forming part of a large international manufacturing group. This is a substantial industrial site with a broad mixture of automated production, processing and material handling equipment, giving engineers plenty of variety across both electrical and mechanical maintenance. The engineering structure also offers genuine autonomy. There are four shift teams with one Engineer covering each The site operates a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern, with a salary of circa £54,000+. The Role This is a varied, hands-on position covering planned and reactive maintenance across the production facility. You''ll work across equipment including: Automated production and process machinery Large conveyor and material handling systems Mixing and processing equipment Motors, gearboxes and mechanical drive systems Pumps, valves and associated pipework Pneumatic systems Steam systems Variable speed drives Electrical control panels and three-phase systems Automated process control equipment You''ll be responsible for diagnosing breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and identifying improvements that can increase plant reliability and prevent recurring failures.
